India Vs Pakistan My Dream 11

India Vs Pakistan My Dream 11

ABOUT THE MATCH

The cricket world cup is the biggest event of the sport and the ICC World Cup 2019 edition has provided some excellent action on the field (when the rain has allowed it to). A number of highly awaited contests have been witnessed but now it is time for the biggest one of them all: India vs Pakistan World Cup 2019.

There is a history of war, conflict, and political differences between the two countries that elevate this contest to something beyond just another cricket match. Supporters from each side are happy to lose the world cup if they can just win this one match.

Traditionally, a lot of cricket has been played between the two sides but all bilateral cricket between India and Pakistan has been at a standstill since 2008 and they have only played each other in multi-nation events.

Pakistan has never won a match against India in the World Cup, a record that it would desperately want to correct. The last time these two teams met in England was the Champions Trophy final 2017 which Pakistan won.

Can they finally get over the line against India?

Oh, and there is a very good chance of rain causing interruptions to the match which is going to add to the intrigue around the contest as well.

Venue: India vs Pakistan ICC World Cup 2019 is going to be played at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester on the 16th of June 2019.

MATCH PREVIEW

INDIA

India is unbeaten in the ICC World Cup 2019 as of now and has looked one of the best teams in the entire tournament. Confident wins against South Africa and Australia were followed by a rained-out encounter against New Zealand.

As good a start as they have had to their campaign, India goes into this match with a few major concerns. Shikhar Dhawan fractured his finger during the match against Australia and is going to be unavailable for this match.

He is a part of India’s famed top-3 and also scored a century in the previous game. His absence will mean that India has to get another player into the side and make some changes to its batting order also.

Lokesh Rahul traveled to England as the reserve opening batsman but cemented his place at number 4 in the warm-ups. He is now going to have to make another adjustment and come back to open the batting. It helps the Lokesh Rahul is in good form but this is going to be a massive test for him.

India now has to decide what to do about their number 4 slot. We think that they are going to include Vijay Shankar into the side since he did pretty well in New Zealand at that position. Shankar is also a brilliant fielder giving him the edge.

The other option that India has is to move up Dhoni and Jadhav one place and add Dinesh Karthik to the lower order.

India has so far played Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav backed up by Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav. We think they might consider playing Mohammad Shami in place of Kuldeep Yadav if the conditions remain overcast.

All in all, India has the bench strength to be able to adapt to the loss of Dhawan but doing so in a pressure match against Pakistan could really test their resolve.

India Squad: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli(c), Lokesh Rahul, MS Dhoni(w), Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Vijay Shankar, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami

Probable Playing 11: Lokesh Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Vijay Shankar/Rishab Pant, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami/Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah

PAKISTAN

One win from four matches has left Pakistan in a tough spot. They lost their match against the West Indies and their match against Sri Lanka was rained out as well. They must win at least four out of their remaining five matches in the ICC World Cup 2019 if they want to be sure of qualifying for the Cricket World Cup 2019 semi-finals.

To say that Pakistan is an unpredictable side is a cliché but it is well deserved. They collapsed in a heap against the West Indies and then scored close to 350 against England after which they once again failed to chase 307 against Australia. Fakhar Zaman, Imam ul Haq, and Babar Azam are a dangerous top-3.

Fakhar Zaman may not be very consistent but he will have good memories of taking apart India’s attack in the Champions Trophy final. Imam and Babar are much more consistent and must score runs if Pakistan has to have a chance.

Babar Azam is rated as one of the best ODI players in the world and this is the time to prove it.

Mohammad Hafeez is in excellent rhythm and is playing his best cricket at number 4. He has the power game to be able to accelerate when needed and is also very good against the spinners.

After these four the batting starts to become shaky. Sarfaraz Ahmed at 5 is a bit too high, Shoaib Malik is struggling for form and may be replaced by Haris Sohail while Asif Ali seems too one dimensional to be successful at this level of the game.

Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali can slog for a bit but they cannot be trusted to hang around against a quality bowling attack.

Pakistan also has to decide on its team combination for this match. They dropped Shadab Khan in the previous match and included Shaheen Afridi but that meant they had no quality spinner in the side. Mohammad Amir is back in wicket-taking form and he will be the biggest threat in this match.

His opening spell against the Indian top-order is going to determine which way the match goes.

If Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali, and the rest can back him up then Pakistan definitely has the bowling to win.

Pakistan Squad: Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Sarfaraz Ahmed (c & wk), Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir, Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi,Haris Sohail, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Hasnain

Probable Playing 11:Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez, Sarfaraz Ahmed (c/wk), Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Amir

TOSS PREDICTION

The team winning the toss is going to want to bat second. There is a lot of rain that is going to be predicted and that will make conditions favorable for the fast bowlers. If the match is completed then DLS tends to favor the side batting second as well. Read our guide on toss predictions to learn how we analyze and come up with our tips.

 PITCH AND CONDITIONS

India vs Pakistan ICC World Cup 2019 is going to be played at the Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. Everyone is going to have one eye in the sky because rain has already played havoc with the tournament.

The weather forecast is not good. There is a lot of rain expected to fall on match day. The current forecast suggests a 50% chance of rain throughout the day. We have to hope for a miracle otherwise the most awaited match of the tournament may be a washout.

 DREAM11 PREDICTION

The Dream 11 team for India vs Pakistan is being made hoping we get a result in. The weather has been terrible in Manchester and there is a very real possibility of a washout. Even if we do get a match, it is likely to be shortened in nature.

Wicketkeeper: There are two options here, MS Dhoni and Sarfaraz Ahmed. Both are good options because they play a crucial role in the middle order. We think that picking MS Dhoni is a better option in this match since he may move up a batting position.

Batsmen: Both the teams are reliant on their top-order for runs. We have picked Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Babar Azam, and Vijay Shankar in our side. Imam ul Haq was another compelling option but he proved to be a bit too expensive to fit in the team. Vijay Shankar's place, is, of course, assuming that he is picked in the final eleven. We can substitute Lokesh Rahul or even Dinesh Karthik in the side if Shankar is not in the team.

All-rounders: Mohammad Hafeez and Hardik Pandya are two very important options in this category. We think it is a must to have both these players in the side because of their high point-scoring potential. Hafeez is Pakistan's most valuable batsman in the middle and bowls regularly while Hardik Pandya is India's power hitter and fourth bowler.

Bowlers: Pakistan's fast bowling riches are plenty and we have decided to include Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz into our side. Mohammad Amir is in good form and also has a good record against India. If Pakistan bowls first, then he could be unplayable under overcast conditions.

Wahab Riaz has been bowling with genuine pace and is always a threat. The third bowler that we have picked is Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. He is at his best when the ball is swinging and that is what we think will happen in Manchester. Batsmen also tend to attack him and prefer to be more cautious against Jasprit Bumrah.

Captain and Vice-Captain: We have picked Virat Kohli as captain and Mohammad Amit as the vice-captain for this match.

South Africa Vs Afghanistan My dream 11

South Africa Vs Afghanistan My dream 11

ABOUT THE MATCH

South Africa has just five matches remaining in the ICC World Cup 2019 and it has yet to win its first match. That is not something that many people would have expected. Three losses from its first three games were followed by a rained-out fixture against the West Indies.

South Africa now plays against Afghanistan, a match where it could finally pick up its first win, weather permitting of course.

Afghanistan has played three matches and lost all three. There have been sparks of brilliance in Afghanistan’s Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign but nothing that has brought it close to a victory. Some of the big players in the Afghanistan team need to start making their presence felt, otherwise, they are going to struggle to win a single game in this tournament.

The weather has been horrible over the last week and we have already had four matches rained out. The forecast in Cardiff for this match is a bit better but we are likely to get a rain delay here as well.

South Africa vs Afghanistan ICC World Cup 2019 is going to be played at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on the 15th of June 2019.

MATCH PREVIEW

SOUTH AFRICA

It will be ten days since South Africa would have played its last world cup 2019 match when it takes the field against Afghanistan. Only 7.3 overs were possible in the match against West Indies but South Africa lost two wickets in that short period as well.

The signs are not good for South Africa.

They need to win all five of their matches and hope for some luck to be able to qualify for the ICC World Cup 2019 semi-finals. They have two potential ‘easy’ games against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka which they must win and try to improve their net run-rate a bit as well.

There are some important questions that South Africa needs to answer ahead of this match.

The first one is about their batting order. Faf du Plessis has been batting at 3 and having a lot of success but he is sliding down the order to accommodate Aiden Markram, who is not in good form.

The second is about team selection. Does Hashim Amla deserve another run after a series of poor scores? Does JP Duminy deserve another chance in the middle? Should South Africa abandon its tactic of playing two spinners altogether?

Most importantly, South Africa needs to get its mindset right. On a player to the player basis, there is no contest between South Africa and Afghanistan. Batsmen like Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock, and Hashim Amla are miles ahead of where Afghanistan is.

Similarly, Kagiso Rabada, Chris Morris, Imran Tahir, and Beuran Hendricks are far superior to anything the Afghans can muster together.

South Africa would be desperately hoping that its big players can finally shed off the dazed look they have been carrying around in the world cup so far and start getting some wins under their belt. Faf du Plessis is our pick for the player to watch out for in this match. He is in good form and likes to lead from the front.

South Africa Squad Quinton de Kock (wk), Faf du Plessis (c), Hashim Amla, Aiden Markram, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Imran Tahir, Beuran Hendricks, Lungi Ngidi, Dwaine Pretorius, Tabraiz Shamsi, Jean-Paul Duminy

AFGHANISTAN

No one expected Afghanistan to win the ICC World Cup 2019 or even make the semi-finals for that matter. A lot of people did expect Afghanistan to make life tough for the other teams and maybe even pick up a win somewhere along the line.

This match against South Africa is as good an opportunity as any for Afghanistan to make its mark on the world cup.

Afghanistan has a very good spin bowling attack and they can exploit some of the weaknesses in the South African camp. Bowlers like Mujeeb, Rashid Khan, and Mohammad Nabi can all be very difficult to handle when in form.

We think that Afghanistan needs to re-think its strategy a little, though. It looks like Afghanistan is happy to start Mujeeb with the new ball, attack with Mohammad Nabi in the middle overs, and then unleash Rashid Khan in the end overs.

Teams around the world have grown to expect this line of attack now. Rashid Khan is being wasted by being held back so late into the game and Mujeeb has struggled to make an impact with the new ball. Changing things up a little is not going to harm Afghanistan.

Its fast-bowling resources are also slim. Hamid Hassan is giving it his all but he is not the bowler he once was. Aftab Alam is energetic without being too threatening. Afghanistan could struggle to stop the strong South African batting from scoring a mountain of runs.

Even more troubling has been the Afghan batting performance. Not even a single batsman from Afghanistan has shown the temperament needed to succeed at this level. Maybe Rahmat Shah is the closes Afghanistan has to a world-class batsman but he cannot win matches on his own.

Hazratullah is happy slogging at the beginning of the inning while Mohammad Nabi does not seem to be able to adapt his game to the 50 over format. Every single batsman in the Afghanistan lineup is going to have to play better than what we have seen in this tournament if Afghanistan is to have any hope of competing with the South Africans.

Afghanistan Squad ulbadin Naib (c), Ikram Ali khil (wk), Hazratullah Zazai, Noor Ali Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Mohammad Nabi, Najibullah Zadran, Rashid Khan, Aftab Alam, Hamid Hassan, Samiullah Shinwari, Dawlat Zadran, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Asghar Afghan V

TOSS PREDICTION

The team winning the toss is likely to want to bat second. The rain around is going to add moisture to the surface and make batting difficult for the first hour.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS

South Africa vs Afghanistan ICC World Cup 2019is going to be played at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The weather has been a real problem in the World Cup so far. Four matches have been rained out and the forecast is not too encouraging either.

There is some rain expected on the morning of the match with a clear day to look forward to later on. This means we could have a delayed start and some reduction in overs.

Cardiff has offered some help to the fast bowlers but overall, the wicket has been good for the batsmen.

DREAM11 PREDICTION

The unending rain seems to be finally ready to take a break and allow us to watch some cricket. Dream11 team for South Africa vs Afghanistan is made assuming we will get a full game.

The strategy for this match is pretty simple: South Africa has to win, preferably with a big margin. We think they are going to be able to do it and this is why we are packing our side with the maximum possible South Africans.

Wicketkeeper: Quinton de Kock is the obvious choice in this category. He is in brilliant form, opens the batting, and is pretty good behind the stumps as well. He is going to be attacked by spin at the start of the inning and that is possibly where he will be tested.

Batsmen: The South African top-order is not in the best form but players like Hashim Amla and Aiden Markram should not be counted out. They have a very good chance of scoring against a weak Afghanistan bowling attack and this is why we have picked them in the side. Faf du Plessis is the other batsman we have picked, which gives all the South African top-order.

All-rounders: Mohammad Nabi, Gulbadin Naib, and Chris Morris are the three players we have selected for our team. Nabi is a leading spinner for Afghanistan while Naib is pretty handy with both bat and ball. Chris Morris is going to be hunting down the wickets and be expected to score runs down the order if hets the opportunity.

Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada, Rashid Khan, Beuran Hendricks, and Nujeeb Ur Rahman are the four bowlers to have been included in the side. Our idea is to have as many wicket-taking options as possible. For South Africa, this means, the fast bowlers and for Afghanistan, this means their spinners. We believe we have most of the bases covered with this selection.

Captain and Vice-Captain: We have decided to have Kagiso Rabada as captain and Hashim Amla as our vice-captain for this match.

ABOUT THE MATCH

With rain stealing most of the limelight in the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2019, the weather becomes an integral part of this world cup. Next few days are going to be critical in terms of both - weather and the matches which are going to be played.

We have Sri Lanka taking on the defending champions, Australia, on Saturday with the marquee contest between India and Pakistan to take place on the next day. The match between Australia and Sri Lanka is scheduled to begin at 9:30 am local time on 15th June at The Oval, London provided the weather doesn't play spoilsport.

Going by the current forecast, we should get a full game in on Saturday. When the two teams met in the warm-up fixture, the Aussies won the match quite comfortably. Stakes, however, are going to be higher this time and we expect a lot closer contest.

SL vs AUS Toss Prediction

Five of the last seven completed one-day internationals (including three out of the four in this World Cup) played at the Kennington Oval have been won by the side batting first. Since the pitch here is expected to get a tad slower later on in the day, the team that wins the toss would want to make first use of the ideal batting conditions.

MATCH PREVIEW

SRI LANKA

SL Team News

Nuwan Pradeep, who dislocated his finger in a training session, has returned to bowling in the nets. However, it remains to be seen whether the team will take the risk of playing him. In case Pradeep misses out again, Suranga Lakmal will lead the Sri Lankan pace attack while leg-spinner Jeevan Mendis will get an extended run. Lasith Malinga had returned home after the last match against Bangladesh due to a death in his family. The veteran pacer, however, is expected to rejoin the team ahead of this upcoming clash against Australia.

Team Form

There's hardly anything which has gone right in Sri Lankan cricket in recent times. They've lost more often than not since the beginning of last year, and there doesn't seem to be light at the end of their tunnel. However, they'd be relatively happy by the position they're currently in at the ladder in the ongoing Cricket World Cup.

They are currently at the fifth spot with four of their matches already done and dusted and credits to two washouts, they're higher than they were expected to be. Their next four opponents, after Australia, are pretty hard and they need to win at least three of those to have any chances of qualification whatsoever.

So far in the tournament, Sri Lanka has been part of only one completed fixture wherein they did pretty well. Their top-three was brilliant with the bat, but they found themselves struggling at 180-odd total with seven wickets down. Their bowling, however, did exceedingly well in wrapping Afghanistan well before knocking their total down.

All in all, considering that Sri Lanka was far from favorites in their last two matches, the washouts might have done more good than harm to the Sri Lankans. While they now need to win most of their games, they are coming after having a good break which could be a blessing in such a big tournament.

AUSTRALIA

AUS Team News

Australia made a couple of changes to their line-up in the previous game against Pakistan, one of which was a forced change with Shaun Marsh coming in to replace Marcus Stoinis who suffered a side strain in the game against India. Stoinis' availability for this match has not been confirmed yet which means Marsh is likely to get another opportunity. Adam Zampa was dropped last time and replaced with Kane Richardson, and it will be interesting to see whether the Aussies bring back the former or continue with the latter.

Team Form

It won't be wrong to say that the Aussies have been on a roller-coaster ride considering the way they've performed in the tournament. Not only their results speak of that, but their performance in the last match was also one good example of that.

They bounced back to winning ways and therefore to contention with a crucial win over Pakistan. While it was a victory with a pretty decent margin on paper, the match was a lot closer than the scorecard suggests.

Batting first on a beauty of a wicket, Finch and Warner got them off to a flyer with Finch leading the way with his potent 82-run knock. Warner continued to build on the solid start and scored a match-winning hundred. Their innings, however, stumbled towards the end of their innings and they were eventually folded for 307.

Defending 307 on a surface which was excellent for batting would have needed a perfect plan, and the Kangaroos executed their plan to perfection. Starc and Cummins were terrific upfront and while a couple of their bowlers leaked runs in the middle overs with Hafeez taking Maxwell for cleaners.

All in all, apart from their game against India, Australia have looked like a team to beat in this tournament. They have done well in all three departments of the game and are looking hungry for more wins and consequently, yet another title win.

MATCH PREDICTION

It turned out to be a mismatch when these two teams met each other in the warm-up fixture around three weeks ago. While Australia is coming off a massive win in their previous match, Sri Lanka has had sufficient rest due to the virtue to two abandoned matches. They are in dire need of a win and a couple of points which might motivate them to put in the extra effort. Having said that, Australia is a superior team on paper, and with both batting and bowling firing, they are firm favorites to register a win in this upcoming fixture.

England v West Indies My Dream 11

England v West Indies My Dream 11

ABOUT THE MATCH

England and the West Indies have been two of the most impressive teams we have seen in the ICC World Cup 2019 so far. England is the world’s number one ranked team and is playing in home conditions. It was always expected to do well in the cricket world cup.

The West Indies reach the World Cup 2019 by barely making it through a qualification tournament and has only recently started to bring back its superstars to the one-day format. There could not be two more different teams in terms of preparation and their approach to the game.

Yet, when England and West Indies play against each other this Friday, the contest is expected to be a close on. West Indies is the only side against whom England failed to win an ODI series in the last few years.

The addition of Jofra Archer, a person of West Indian origin who has chosen to play for England, is also going to add some spice to the mix.

England vs West Indies is going to be played at the Rose Bowl, Southampton, on the 14th of June 2019.

MATCH PREVIEW

ENGLAND

ENG Team News

England made just the one change to their side in the previous game against Bangladesh as they opted for an extra seamer in Liam Plunkett at the expense of all-rounder Moeen Ali. Plunkett had a good game with both bat and ball and it remains to be seen whether the hosts decide to stick with him or bring Moeen back. The rest of their line-up is expected to remain unchanged.

Team Form

Two wins from three matches are a fair assessment of the manner in which England has performed at the World Cup so far. They played a near flawless game against South Africa, were let down by their fielding against Pakistan, and then dominated Bangladesh with the bat once again.

England will be careful about underestimating the West Indies, though.

The England batting is the strongest in the world and they currently have three out of the top-4 scorers in this world cup. Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, and Joe Root have all hit centuries already while Ben Stokes came very near to scoring one as well.

It will be interesting to see how the English batsmen counter the short-pitched attack that the West Indies has been using so far. All of their batsmen like the ball coming on to the bat but trying to attack the short ball can be risky.

Jason Roy scored 150 in the previous match and has been one of the best players for England at ICC events. He and Jonny Bairstow will be crucial to building a platform for the other batsmen to take advantage of.

Eoin Morgan is the one player that we don’t think is going to score too many runs in this match. The West Indies bowlers have the speed to be able to exploit his weakness against the short ball.

Among the England bowlers, Mark Wood and Jofra Archer are currently the fastest bowlers in the tournament. They have been testing speeds of over 150 km/h and will pose a threat to any batting side.

England just has to take a decision on sticking with Adil Rashid as their spinner or maybe bringing back Moeen Ali for another game.

England Starting Lineup

Jason Roy, Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Chris Woakes, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood/Moeen Ali/Tom Curran

WEST INDIES

WI Team News

Good news for the West Indies is that their star all-rounder Andre Russell is likely to be fit for this upcoming game against England which means Kemar Roach will probably be the one to make way for him. Chris Gayle is still recovering from the back stiffness he had picked up in the opening game against Pakistan, but his injury is not serious enough to rule him out of the game. Evin Lewis was unfit for the last match against South Africa. If he is declared fit for this game, he will replace Darren Bravo in the line-up and open the batting alongside Chris Gayle with Shai Hope pushed back to number three.

Team Form

The West Indies have won an important game against Pakistan and lost one close encounter against Australia. There is no doubt that the West Indies should have won the game against Australia after having them on the ropes on multiple occasions during the contest.

Now, the West Indies face England with the knowledge that a win here is going to be very helpful to their aspirations moving forward.

Chris Gayle had a magical series against England where he smashed a world-record 39 sixes and kept scoring runs with unbelievable consistency. So much of Chris Gayle’s batting is about the confidence that we believe he is going to come into this game in a good frame of mind.

It is unclear if Evin Lewis is going to be fit for this match or not. The West Indies need to pick between him and Darren Bravo if both are available for selection. Andre Russell was rested for the previous match against South Africa and replaced by Kemar Roach.

That may not be a big loss in the bowling department but Andre Russell’s batting is irreplaceable. There is no cleaner hitter of the ball or a more dangerous player at the end of an inning in the world right now. This match against England is an important one and we think that the West Indies may play Russell is he is available.

All things considered, the West Indies have a very fluid team. They have plenty of all-rounders that can contribute in all areas of the game and they seem to have power hitters for every occasion. The West Indies may consider playing Fabien Allen in the team ahead of Ashley Nurse.

He is another powerful hitter and someone who can bowl pretty decent spin as well.

The form of Oshane Thomas and Sheldon Cottrell is a big plus in the bowling department although Jason Holders lack of wickets could be a little troubling.

West Indies Starting Lineup

Chris Gayle, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope, Nicholas Pooran, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Ashley Nurse, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas.

TOSS PREDICTION

The team winning the toss may want to bat second. The pitch in Southampton has had some help in it for the fast bowlers and teams will look to exploit that upfront.

Read our guide on toss predictions to learn how we analyze and come up with our tips.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS

England vs West Indies is going to be played at the Rose Bowl, Southampton. The weather has been terrible over the last week but it finally looks like we will get some cricket to watch in this match. There is some rain around in the area but the forecast on match day looks good for cricket.

The pitch at Southampton has been good for the fast bowlers. India’s bowlers managed to get some extra bounce from the surface and both the sides in this match will be hoping for the same. Getting first use of the conditions, particularly with some cloud overhead could be very important.

DREAM11 PREDICTION

There are a lot of great options available for the England vs West Indies Dream11 team and we have tried to include the maximum number possible in our picks. There are also some surprisingly low-priced bowling options steals that allow us to load up on some batting superstars.

Wicketkeeper: There are four wicketkeeping options offered by Dream11 for England vs West Indies. Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Shai Hope, and Nicholas Pooran. Not only are all among the leading batsmen of their teams, but they are also in good form. This is why we have picked all four of them for this match.

Batsmen: There is space for just three batsmen in the side after picking four wicketkeepers: Joe Root is the most consistent England ODI batsman and picking him is an easy option. We have decided not to include Eoin Morgan or Jason Roy in the side. Morgan could struggle against the West Indian short bowling attack and Roy tends to go through a dull patch after a huge ODI score.

Instead, we have included Shimron Hetmyer and Chris Gayle. Hetmyer has yet to do anything of note in the tournament but we believe a big inning for him is around the corner. Gayle has wonderful recent memories of playing against England is also striking the ball well. The weather prediction is for dry skies but a Gayle-storm may be on the way!

All-rounders: Jason Holder is the only all-rounder we have included in our side. There is no news if Andre Russell is expected to play this match or not. If he does play, then we will make space and include him in our updated Dream11 team which we release on Twitter for every ICC World Cup 2019 match. FOllow @cricketbettings for the latest.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer and Mark Wood are the fastest bowlers in this world cup. They have also been picking wickets regularly and are in good form. The fact that they are available for 8.5 and 8 points respectively is just a great deal. Rounding out the bowlers is Adil Rashid. He has proven himself to be one of the most prolific wicket-takers and is used to attack by Eoin Morgan. His battle against the West Indian big-hitters will give him opportunities to pick up plenty of points.

Captain and Vice-Captain: We have picked Chris Gayle as captain and Jonny Bairstow as vice-captain for this match.

India vs New Zealand My Dream 11 Team

India vs New Zealand My Dream 11 Team

ABOUT THE MATCH

India has been playing some brilliant cricket in the ICC World Cup 2019 and they are showing to the world why they are a team to be feared. They have already beaten strong teams like South Africa and Australia with ease and now have New Zealand in their sights.

New Zealand is no push-over either. It has won all three of its matches in the cricket world cup 2019 and been extremely professional in its efforts. We are not too sure how much winning the warm-up match against India just before the World Cup 2019 began is going to matter, but New Zealand may look at that result as a positive.

The match against India would be the first real test that New Zealand is going to face. India knows just how dangerous the Kiwis can be and is not going to take this match lightly either. Both of these teams are the only unbeaten teams in the World Cup now. Which one will remain unbeaten after the match is over?

India vs New Zealand 18th Match in ICC World Cup 2019 is going to be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on the 13th of June 2019.

MATCH PREVIEW

INDIA

IND Team News

India has been dealt a big blow as Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the World Cup for three weeks due to a fractured thumb. The opening batsman sustained the injury while batting in the last match against Australia.

Vijay Shankar and Dinesh Karthik are the two probable replacement options for Dhawan and one of them will have to bat at number four as KL Rahul is likely to partner Rohit Sharma at the opening position. Since overcast conditions are expected at the Trent Bridge, India may consider bringing in Mohammed Shami in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Team Form

India’s performance against Australia was one of the best we have seen from the side in any world cup match. They were lucky to win the toss and bat first on a used pitch but everything that followed from that point on was the skill.

Rohit Sharma scored another 50, Shikhar Dhawan made a century, Virat Kohli got 80, and Hardik Pandya showed his power game can work very well on the international stage. Even MS Dhoni and Lokesh Rahul hit sixes from the very first ball they faced.

This meant that India scored over 350 runs and with their bowling attack, they were always going to defend that.

India is playing New Zealand at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, which is the highest scoring ground in the world. There are some extremely small boundaries to take advantage of and a very flat pitch that is favorable to the batsmen.

We think India will want to chase first if it gets the chance because setting a target can be very tricky at Trent Bridge. The batting order looks quite well sorted right now and we don’t anticipate any changes for the match against New Zealand.

India’s top-order will be wary of Trent Boult early on but we think they won't be very worried about any of the other bowlers.

Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal have been the best bowlers for India so far. They have been bowling at a high level and can be expected to do the same. The real advantage for India has been the form of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. His return to wicket-taking ways helps India close up one more gap in its defense.

We definitely think that India can expect the New Zealand batsmen to be a lot more aggressive than the Australians were.

India Starting Lineup

Lokesh Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli (c), Vijay Shankar/Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar/Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah

NEW ZEALAND

Team News

New Zealand has no injury concerns heading into this game. They have not felt the need to make any changes to their line-up since their campaign opener against Sri Lanka and it won't be surprising if they go unchanged for the third consecutive time.

Martin Guptill and Colin Munro will continue to open the batting while Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor will be batting at numbers three and four respectively. Trent Boult and Matt Henry are likely to share the new ball once again. Mitchell Santner is the lone spinner in this New Zealand side.

Team Form

Three matches and three wins have meant that New Zealand has had a great start to the ICC World Cup 2019. Their wins have come against Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, three of the lower ranked teams in the competition.

This match against India is going to be a whole different level of cricket.

New Zealand has already defeated India in the warm-up game and will be confident of doing it again. To do that, though, New Zealand is going to have to play aggressive cricket.

Martin Guptill and Colin Munro form an excellent opening partnership. They score at a fast run-rate and definitely have the game to take on India’s bowlers. Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor are also in superb rhythm in the middle-order.

This is a very strong batting lineup and one which could very easily get enough runs to stop India.

The biggest threat to New Zealand’s batsmen is going to come from the wrist spinners. They were unable to figure them out when the two sides met in New Zealand. Attack has to be the best option against them because if they are allowed to bowl freely then half the match is already lost.

Jimmy Neesham, Tom Latham, and Colin de Grandhomme ensure that there is a lot of power at the end of the inning should it be needed.

The New Zealand bowling attack has a very good fast bowling component but its spinners are only average. Trent Boult, Matt Henry, and Lockie Ferguson will have to find a way of picking up some early wickets to put the Indian middle order under pressure.

Boult has troubled a lot of the Indian batsmen with the ball that come into the pads, especially Rohit Sharma. His battle with Sharma up front could go a long way in deciding the outcome of the match.

New Zealand Starting Lineup

Martin Guptill, Colin Munro, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Tom Latham (wk), James Neesham, Colin de Grandhomme, Mitchell Santner, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult.

TOSS PREDICTION

The team winning the toss is expected to want to bat second. There is some rain around and that could mean a shortened match with a DLS adjusted score. The team that bats second will have a definite advantage.

Read our guide on toss predictions to learn how we analyze and come up with our tips.

PITCH AND CONDITIONS

India vs New Zealand ICC World Cup 2019 match is going to be played at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The weather around the United Kingdom has been bad this week and the forecast in Nottingham for this match is not very good either.

A lot of rain is expected to fall in Trent Bridge and we could struggle to get any cricket in. The best case scenario looks one where a shortened match is possible to get a result.

The pitch in Trent Bridge is flat and full of runs. The batsmen are going to be able to score at their will and a score of about 330 seems to be par for the venue.

DREAM11 PREDICTION

The rain has been spoiling the flow of the ICC World Cup 2019 and it looks India vs New Zealand is also going to be affected. The Dream 11 team for India vs New Zealand ICC World Cup 2019 match is going to be made assuming that Henry Nicholls and Shikhar Dhawan are not fit and will not be available for this match.

Wicketkeeper: There are four good options available for this slot in this match and Dream11 new rules allow us to pick them all. We are, however, only picking MS Dhoni from this category. Dinesh Karthik could play now that Shikhar Dhawan is injured, Tom Latham is in good form and Tom Blundell has scored runs also. Dhoni's good form with the bat and his possible move up to number four in the batting order makes him the best pick.

Batsmen: We have picked the five best batsmen available in this match since the venue is Trent Bridge, the highest scoring ground in the world. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Lokesh Rahul, Ross Taylor, and Kane Williamson are all superb players and in good form. Leaving out Martin Guptill and Colin Munro was tough but there is no way to include all of them in one team! We think Lokesh Rahul has the chance of a lifetime to secure his place in the Indian ODI team once and for all now that Dhawan has been ruled out for the next few games.

All-rounders: Hardik Pandya and Colin de Grandhomme are the players we have picked in this match. They are both important bowlers for their side and very good strikers of the cricket ball as well. Their role in accelerating the inning towards the end is going to be crucial.

Bowlers: Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, and Lockie Ferguson make it into our team for this match. We have taken the risky decision of not picking Jasprit Bumrah in this match because we think New Zealand will try and play him out without losing their wickets to him.

Captain and Vice-Captain: We have picked Virat Kohli and Ross Taylor as captain and vice-captain for this match respectively.

MATCH PREDICTION

India dominated New Zealand when it went there earlier this year. New Zealand, however, has a good record against India in ICC events. The 20 overs from India’s wrist-spinners in the middle overs are going to be where the match is won or lost. Both teams have a good batting lineup but India has the better bowling attack.

Team News

Australia

AUS Team News

Australia has stuck with the same 11 players for all three matches so far, meaning Shaun Marsh, Kane Richardson, Nathan Lyon, and Jason Behrendorff are having to remain patient. Their current XI is definitely their strongest on paper, however, so it may be another unchanged team to face Pakistan.

AUS Key Players

Steve Smith may not have won over opposition supporters since his comeback from his ban after the ball-tampering scandal, but his form means he can not be ignored either. After warming up for the tournament in top form, he has now hit 73 against West Indies and 69 against India in his last two innings.

David Warner also hit a half-century last time out – his second of the tournament – though it was compiled slowly. On the other hand, Alex Carey’s unbeaten 55 from 35 balls proved his form and showed his team-mates how the chase should have been approached.

Others to look out for with the bat include captain Aaron Finch, who was named player of the series when these teams last met in the UAE. Finch hit two centuries (including a high score of 153*) and two half-centuries on his way to 451 runs in five innings.

With the ball, Pat Cummings has six wickets to his name so far to continue his fine form, while Mitchell Starc now has seven, five of which came in a match-winning performance against West Indies.

AUS Team Form

Australia arrived in England in resurgent ODI form and kicked off the World Cup 2019 with two wins. They bowled Afghanistan out for 207 to start with a seven-wicket win and then defended 288 against West Indies next up – a win which owed much to Mitchell Starc, who claimed 5-46.

Their winning start was ended by India last time out, however, as some excellent late hitting left Australia chasing 353 to win. Steve Smith, David Warner, and Alex Carey all passed 50 but, ultimately, the scoreboard pressure proved too much and they were eventually bowled out off the final ball for 316.

Playing 11: Aaron Finch (c), David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Alex Carey (wk), Nathan Coulter-Nile, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa

Pakistan

After their disastrous opening defeat to West Indies, Pakistan dropped Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim as Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali returned to face England. The subsequent win means it could be the same XI that starts against Australia after Pakistan’s last match was washed out.

 PAK Key Players

After falling well short against the West Indies, Pakistan’s batsmen were back to their best against England. Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman and half-centurions Babar Azam (63), Mohammad Hafeez (84) and Sarfaraz Ahmed (55) powered Pakistan to a big score.

As a result of their performances, all three of Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq continue to boast an ODI batting average of 50 or more too. Only eight other players worldwide, ever, can say the same. The batsmen were backed up by the bowlers against England too, as Wahab Riaz justified his late inclusion in the squad with three wickets. Mohammad Amir’s 2-67, which included dangerman Jos Buttler, means he has five so far in this tournament oo.

PAK Team Form

Pakistan’s ODI form looked to have deserted them as they came into this tournament on the back of their thrashings against Australia and England. That was, even more, the case when they folded for just 105 on their way to an opening seven-wicket defeat against West Indies in this tournament.

They bounced back against England, however, after powering to 348/8 thanks to half-centuries from Babar Azam (63 from 66 balls), Mohammad Hafeez (84 from 62) and Sarfaraz Ahmed (55 from 44). In reply, England was rarely too far behind the asking rate but Pakistan came back well late on to restrict them to 334/9.

Playing 11:Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed (c, wk), Mohammad Hafeez, Asif Ali, Shoaib Malik, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Amir.

AUS vs PAK Head to Head

Australia was in dominant form when these two teams last met, as Aaron Finch’s excellent batting led them to a 5-0 series win in the UAE as both teams geared up for this tournament. Finch was named man of the series, after hitting two 50s and two centuries on his way to more than 450 runs in the five games.

It means Australia have won 67 of their previous 103 ODI matches against Pakistan, with 32 defeats, one tie and three no results. Their last World Cup match in England, of course, was 1999 final when Australia won their first title.

Australia vs Pakistan Prediction

Australia was in dominant form when these two nations last met and they can continue that by getting back to winning ways at this World Cup.

Yuvraj Singh Announces Retirement

Today in a press meet Yuvraj Singh announced retirement from all forms of cricket. "It's time to say goodbye and walks away. It was a beautiful story, but it has come to an end," says Yuvraj Singh in a short film played at the Mumbai event.

The all-rounder, accompanied by his wife and mother, told reporters of his decision at a city hotel close to the Wankhede Stadium where India lifted their last 50-overs World Cup title in 2011.  My next focus in life is to help cancer patients and underprivileged kids.

After 25 years in and around the 22 yards and almost 17 years of international cricket on and off, I have decided to move on. This game taught me how to fight, how to fall, to dust off, to get up again and move forward: Yuvraj Singh after announcing retirement from international cricket.

It has been a lovely journey...see you on the other side Yuvraj Singh
