India Vs Pakistan Match ICC T20 world cup

India and Pakistan Match

It's a sin not to talk about cricket during the T20 world cup time in India and it's even more sin not to blog about India and Pakistan match during the world cup when you have a cricket blog.

This cricket blog is started out as a to kill time. but for the past three months, I didn't find a time to blog about the second part of the Indian Premier League. I know that India - Pakistan match is near but I didn't see it coming this early. The big day is tomorrow and the people are getting excited for the match.

Coming to the Match Analytics, the Last time both faced is during the 2019 world cup match. In that match, India won it by DLS Method due to rain.

This time the odds are even, the team that chose to bat first with the highest score might have a chance to be undefeatable at this match. The team that chases the score might feel the pressure of 1.5 billion people who are watching the match just alone from the two countries.

Some politicians in India, most of the Right-Wing Hindu Activists proposed to boycott the match due to reported violence against Hindus in Pakistan last month and the Kashmir issue are the main reason behind the proposal. This proposal created different opinions in the cricket fans and the activists.

One side says the match should be played as usual the victory should be the answer to their behaviour against our brothers in Pakistan, and the other says the Indian team shouldn't be playing with them as a protest against their actions.

Anyway, the match is going to play as scheduled by the ICC in Dubai International Stadium. Don't miss watching Live on Starports and on Hotstar (subscription required).

Indian Premier League is Postponed due to coronavirus

image: BCCI

The 14th edition of the Indian Premier league is postponed after a few players from the Kolkata Knight Riders and a few staff members from Chennai Super Kings tested positive for coronavirus.

The BCCI announced that the tournament will be paused momentarily and they will provide safe passage for all the players and the supporting staff to reach their homes.

Currently, there is no word on when the tournament would be resumed.

In my personal opinion, the tournament will be postponed for at least 3 months and might move away from India to complete the remaining half of the tournament.

IPL 2021 MI vs CSK Match 27 Preview

image: BCCI

This is the penultimate match of the season's first round. After the 28th match between SRH and RR, the first round of the season will be completed, where all the team have played with all the other 7 seven other teams once. from the 29th match, the team will be playing for the second time.

This is a big match for the Indian Premier League fans, as we can expect a thriller match and the aggression of some serious rivalry between the two teams. Both the teams have played 6 matches till now, in which CSK only lost a match to DC whereas MI lost 3 matches.

The 27th match of the IPL will be played in Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad and the match begins at 7:30 PM.

Chennai Super Kings

Chennai has able to win all the matches but the first match against the Delhi Capitals. In that match, the team has performed well but, the DC has performed better than them.

This team has able to break the winning streak of the Royal Challengers Bangalore by taking the wickets of the team's big-guns in the middle over.

All thanks to Sir Jadeja, he scored 37 runs from Harshal Patel's last over and took 3 wickets in the second innings.

Chennai needs to be careful by not giving any runs to Mumbai Indians in the death overs. If they are succeded in restricting them, Chennai is going to win.

The CSK batting big guns needs to flourish in the powerplay and try to set a maximum score and make MI harder to chase in the following innings, if they chose to bat first.

Chennai Super Kings Squad

Probable Playing 11

1 Faf du Plessis, 2 Ruturaj Gaikwad, 3 Moeen Ali, 4 Suresh Raina, 5 Ambati Rayudu, 6 Ravindra Jadeja, 7 MS Dhoni (capt & wk), 8 Sam Curran, 9 Shardul Thakur, 10 Deepak Chahar, 11 Lungi Ngidi

Mumbai Indians

In the 6 matches they have played, MI just won 3 matches. They won those matches because of very good bowling. Mumbai Indians have lost their touch in the batting as they are not scoring much compared to last year.

In the death over, the team is struggling as the death bowling specialist batsmen are failing to score runs and losing wickets in the process.

If this continues, it might hard even to secure 4th position on the points table. Its time for Mumbai Indians to change the squad and try to do experimenting with new players.

The CSK bowling and MI bowling is equal in all aspects, but the team whcih adapts to the situation and pressure will be the winner.

Quick wickets and tight feeling might save them from Chennai Super Kings in today's match.

Mumbai Indians Squad

Probable playing 11

1 Quinton de Kock (wk), 2 Rohit Sharma (capt), 3 Suryakumar Yadav, 4 Krunal Pandya, 5 Kieron Pollard, 6 Hardik Pandya, 7 Nathan Coulter-Nile, 8 Jayant Yadav, 9 Rahul Chahar, 10 Trent Boult, 11 Jasprit Bumrah

IPL 2021 PBKS vs RCB Match 26 Report

Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the second game this season, their first winning streak was broken by the Chennai Super Kings and their second winning streak is broke by Punjab kings.

After winning the toss, RCB chose to bowl first, but their plans didn't go well. In the powerplay, Punjab Kings scored 49 runs just by losing a wicket.

With the help of Chris Gayle, K L Rahul scored 80 runs in 45 balls. Their partnership really helped the team to score runs in the middle overs.

Then Chris Gayle got out in Daniel Sam's 11th over. Then Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Hooda and Shahrukh Khan got out early by barely scoring any runs.

Then Harpreet Barr and KL Rahul built another partnership of 61 runs in 32 balls. Harshal Patel, the leading wicket-taker in the tournament gave the most runs in the death overs.

By the end of the Innings, Punjab Kings scored 179 for a loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.

With a decent and reasonable score to chase, Royal Challengers Bangalore batsmen Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal opened the second innings.

While trying to hit a glory shot, Devdutt Padikkal got bowled in Riely Merdith's 3rd over. Then, Harpreet Barr took Virat Kohli and Glen Maxwell's wickets in the 2 consecutive balls.

Glenn Maxwell didn't believe that he got out for quite some time. He eventually went back to the dugout after getting OUT for duck. Those balls from Harpreet were really amazing.

In the next over, Harpreet got  AB de Villiers. With the RCB top-order and their big guns failed to fire, the small guns scored a few runs to save the run rate for the points table.

Harpreet Barr, the bowler who single-handedly crushed RCB and helped his team to win the game. This is the 3rd win for the Punjab Kings. And the Royal Challengers Bangalore just fell to third place in the points table.

IPL 2021 CSK vs SRH Match 23 Preview

image: Hotstar

Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will be playing a match in Feroz Shah Kolta Stadium, Delhi. This the first IPL match played this season. A few of the journalists think that playing a cricket match in Delhi cricket stadium is inappropriate and insensitive as the patients are dying in the Hospital nearby the stadium. The match will begin at 7:30 PM IST.

After yesterday's match, Chennai Super Kings rose to 2nd place in the points table as their net run rate is more compared to the Delhi Capitals with the same points in the table.

Sunrisers are at the bottom of the points table after their only win against the Punjab Kings. In the 5 matches they have played, the team managed to win only a match. In the match against Delhi Capitals, they have managed to draw the game but lost to DC in the super over.

The Chennai Super Kings are in full swing and no one can stop them from winning this game. They even broke the RCB's winning streak. To win this game, Sunrisers Hyderabad needs a big miracle. This year is a bad year for Sunrisers.

Playing 11 :

SRH: David Warner (capt), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, J Suchith, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, Siddarth Kaul

CSK: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Faf du Plessis, Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni (capt&wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Shardul Thakur, Lungi Ngidi, Deepak Chahar

Mohammed Siraj won the match 22 for RCB

In the second innings last over, Delhi Capitals need 14 runs in 6 balls. Mohammed Siraj bowled a wonderful over with yorkers and thigh-high full tosses and just gave 12 runs off the over. Rishab pant and Shimron Hetmeyer was unable to send the ball to the boundaries in this over.

Rishab's and Shimron's half-centuries were goes in vain, at a certain point in-game Royal Challengers Bangalore was in full control. After picking the Marcus Stoinis wicket, Shimron Hetmeyer and Rishab Pant closed the gap with amazing running between the wickets and Hetmeyer's boundaries.

Rishab played this innings with caution as the openers were gone early in the game and the score is low as compared to the RCB. Hetmeyer completed his half-century first who came late into the crease. In this innings, Rishab Pant didn't hit a six.

In the first innings, RCB scored 171 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 5 wickets. In the powerplay, RCB lost 2 wickets to the DC bowlers and scored just 36 runs.

After a beautiful cameo from Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers played a one-man show in the game and scored 75 runs at the end of the innings. In the last over, he scored 22 runs which helped the team to win with a margin of a run.

AB de Villiers and Rajat Patidar built a wonderful partnership of  54 runs in 38 balls in the middle overs.

Delhi Capitals had a tremble second innings, they lost two of their openers, Shikar Dhawan and Steven Smith in the powerplay and Prithvi Shaw in the 8th over.

With the loss of wickets, the Delhi Capitals were unable to score and DC worm is below compared to RCB at that stage.

Then, Marcus Stoinis and Rishab Pant accelerated the run rate in the middle overs. They both scored 45 runs in 34 balls. Then. Shimron Hetmeyer came into bat after  Marcus Stoinis got out.

Shimron Hetmeyer played the bad cop and Rishab Pant played the good cop. S Hetmery is hitting the boundaries and R Pant is giving strike back to him.

Unfortunately, they both were unable to afloat the team in the last over. Their wonderful half-centuries went in vain.
